These crazy little rubber bracelets are the latest rage!

Silly Bands (which are sometimes referred to as Silly Bandz) are the latest craze to take children by storm and everyone from pre-schoolers to high school kids are clamoring to find these collectible bracelets. Boys and girls absolutely love them and once a friend has them you soon find yourself looking in every department store to find them. The problem now is that because everyone seems to want them, retailers can’t keep them in stock. So what are Silly Bands and how do you find them?  Let's talk about the different kinds of collectible bracelets, what makes them so cool and where you can find them today.

What are Silly Bands?
Silly Bands (or Silly Bandz) are made of rubber and are molded into different shapes and are worn by kids young and old as bracelets. You will find that most kids are wearing not one but many of these little bracelets as it looks really cool with all of the colors. There are many different shapes to choose from and you can find a variety of different themed packs that have everything from Pets, Sea Animals and Zoo Animals to Alphabet Letters and Basic shapes for younger children. There are also gender specific packs as well that are geared towards either girls or boys so no more fighting over sharing the bracelets. For example, you can purchase a Princess pack for the girls and for the boys they make Dinosaurs and Cars packs. There are also holiday specific bandz with Christmas and Halloween themes as well as packs for the different seasons (the Spring pack just arrived in stores!) If you look hard enough there is a pack out there that will satisfy your child’s interest and provide hours of fun and trading with their friends.

There are many web sites out there where Silly Bands (or any other brand) can be purchased. You can go directly to Sillybandz.com to purchase their packs for $4.99 or you can simply search on Yahoo Shopping or Amazon.com for individual packs of Silly Bands as well. Locally you find them at your Hallmark card and gift shop store and also some craft stores like AC Moore and Michael's. Prices are not too bad for Silly Bands either and they can range anywhere from $3.99 to 5.99 per pack of 24 bracelets depending on the store and your geographic location. If you are having a difficult time locating them your best bet is to simply Google the phrase 'silly bands' or 'silly bandz' or 'collectible bracelets' and there will be pages that come related to these rubber bracelets.

At this point there are so many different styles on the market that the sky is the limit. Rumors are that there are a couple of different Silly Bands related items such as Silly bands buttons, Carabiners and t-shirts that are soon to hit the market.
